Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Manage all day-to-day technical operations
  2. Lead technical architecture and programming for all projects; must be hands-on with programming.
  3. Work directly with the CEO to help develop a product roadmap to create one of the best live chat & chatbot products on the market
  4. Assign developers to various tasks and help lead/coach/mentor to improve team efficiency
  5. Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality, standards, and best practices across the team
  6. Research and development related to new technologies, including development of prototypes
  7. Lead deployments to production environment to minimize risk, down time, and establish rollback strategies
  8. Troubleshoot challenging issues as they arise (e.g. CPU performance, memory usage, scale of distributed systems, etc.)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. MUST have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
  2. MUST have 10-15+ years experience with C#/.NET programming and architecture, especially with SaaS/Cloud-based products
  3. MUST have 5+ years experience managing a team of developers
  4. Must still LOVE to code and design new solutions; you might even have side projects you’ve created
  5. Have a positive attitude and an unparalleled work ethic; you love to work hard, move up, and produce amazing results
  6. Detail-oriented, hate when you make mistakes, and take pride in producing great quality products
  7. Major plus: Prior experience as a Technical Product Manager responsible for road map planning, feature analysis and design, competitive research, etc.
  8. Major plus: Prior entrepreneurial experience starting a SaaS/Cloud-based product company.

 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

  1. Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC
  2. Strong experience with SQL Server
  3. Strong front-end development skills using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and all the latest frameworks
  4. Strong experience with building scalable distributed systems
  5. Strong experience with caching techniques and multi-threading concepts
  6. Experience with ElasticSearch is a big plus
  7. Experience with Artificial Intelligence concepts is a big plus
  8. Experience with mobile app development using Ionic or React Native is a big plus
  9. Experience developing products such as Live Chat, Email Marketing Automation, or Help-Desk ticket systems is a big plus
  10. Must be willing to work from 9pm-6am (Night Shift)
