About the role

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for planning, executing, and managing projects and activities related to IT security and compliance management, mitigation and response, and control assurance.
  • Focuses on developing and driving IT security and compliance strategies, policies/standards, ensuring effectiveness of solutions, and providing security-focused services to RBSC.
  • Provides security support for application- and infrastructure related projects to ensure that security issues are addressed throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ensures IT security and compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Assists in the development and delivery of IT security awareness programs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Familiar with Trend Micro Apex One, Trend Micro Data Loss Prevention, FireEye EX, FireEye NX, FireEye HX and WatchGuard firewall
  • Good understanding of the circulars of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas related to IT security, IT risk and other related IT requirements
  • 3-5 years of combined IT audit and IT security and compliance work experience
  • Certifications related to information security e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM is preferred
  • Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms
